It is executed through a structured process—worksite analysis to identify hazards, environmental monitoring and sampling to measure exposures, and evaluation of risks from various factors. Based on findings, industrial hygienists recommend engineering controls, administrative measures, or personal protective equipment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
